Progress Update
Little bit of a progress update (took a bit of procrastination break lol)
- My upgrade buttons are now operating off of a command pattern setup
- Each button has a progress bar to when you can afford it
- There is a more "robust" scaling system (still tuning)
- I have added in a very simple end goal (no end game event yet)
- Made some UI updates for a better look
Planned Next
- Simple Prestige system that multiplies the "sell" value of your iron so you gain more currency per iron mined
- Multiple miner animations when you purchase a new miner (similar to what we have in Execute and the guillotines)
- Perhaps a new animation that fits the overall theme more (might just do some color grading or something to keep it simple)
- A simple menu system to pause the game and adjust volume settings
- SFX for the UI
- Flare polish (floating numbers upon acquiring resources type thing)
- Add a cost to getting the auto button so you actually have to interact with the game for at least a little bit at the start of each run
- Probably one more small change in UI layout
I plan to make an update to it on itch once the prestige system is in place, then the last one will be everything else
I was originally going to do more upgrades, but for what I want to be a relatively small project for my first incremental I like the simplicity of just three choices and a prestige option.
