A tactical local co-op (2 player) turn-based strategy game inspired by "Warriors" by Erin Hunter

This is an in-development game that will be worked on over the summer of 2022.

Any bugs or suggestions should be left as a comment on this project until specified otherwise.



Your job is to protect your Leader (you can think of it as the King in chess).

Once the leader's health (displayed on the sides of the screen) reaches 0 the opposite team wins.

You start out with just your leader and a base amount of money to spend.

Purchase units to fight for you, each is unique with these varying stats:

  • Health (heart in lower right panel)
  • Attack Damage (Sword in the lower right panel)
  • Counter Damage (Two pawns with rotating arrows in lower right panel)
  • Armor Value (Shield in lower right panel)

You are limited on how many combat-based units you can have and how many structure-based units you can have in play at one time, so choose carefully.

Types of Units for Purchase

  • Warrior (Combat): Base unit, with average movement range, average attack damage, and respectable health
  • Apprentice (Combat): Ranged unit, longer attack range and farther movement, but weaker attacks and lower health
  • Deputy (Combat): Tank unit, short attack range, short movement range, but has high health and respectable damage output
  • Camp (Structure): Money generator, no movement or attacking capabilities (though it can counter-attack), this unit generates money for the player each turn rotation.



All actions are performed with the mouse. 

(Gamepad and touch are not currently supported)

  • Selecting units with a mouse left click
    • This also reveals the stats of that unit no matter which side they are on and which player turn it is
  • Purchasing units using the "Barracks" menu on the left/right side of the screen
  • Ending a player turn with the button at the bottom of the screen.
